
Overview
The Level 4 Diploma in Business Management provides learners with an introduction to various aspects and operations of organizations. This qualification aims to develop learners’ understanding, skills, and abilities to become effective organizational managers and leaders. Course Structure
The Level 4 Certificate consists of 6 mandatory units required by learners for the qualification. These units provide an introduction to the key facets and operations of organizations, addressing the challenges faced by modern businesses. The course is designed to equip learners with the awareness and attitudes needed to be effective organizational managers and leaders.
Entry Requirements
Entry to this qualification is accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression. Candidates can enter the program through a center interview, and they are expected to meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold qualifications at Level 3, such as ‘A’ Levels or vocational awards.
- Have spent time in an organizational role and demonstrated capability and motivation to develop.
- Seek further professional development and wish to gain work-related skills and know-how.
Assessment
Each unit in this qualification is assessed through an assignment. Assignment tasks are designed to resemble realistic ‘work-related’ tasks wherever possible. Learners are required to demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and application of concepts, as well as problem-solving abilities and recommendations for action where appropriate.
Assignments will contain a question strand for each unit’s learning outcomes and assessment criteria. Learners must engage with relevant theory underpinning the subject area and draw on real organizations to illustrate their answers.
A minimum mark of 40% is required for a unit to pass and for credit to be achieved. This pass mark applies to all units contributing to the Diploma.
EBMA conducts external moderation to monitor the assessment and internal moderation processes within the center, ensuring that the assessment remains fit for purpose and meets EBMA’s center recognition requirements.

Learners can study this qualification directly with EBMA through its virtual learning environment, or they can choose to study through recognized centers. The fees may vary depending on the chosen mode of study.
